At one point I realized something about managing Type 1 diabetes. Staying organized helps me feel more in control.

Analyzing and documenting trying to keep numbers in range the best we can.

The anxiety of keeping track of everything is a lot. We think diabetes through your the day and so much of my brain power is this.

Tracking numbers.
Remembering supplies.
Preparing for school.
Planning for appointments.

All inside our heads.

Since the beginning I have tried creating different systems. For quite a while my notebooks were full. And I had my diabetes binder and then a separate binder where I printed off Clarity reports. Eventually I had so much paper and the binder stopped working for me. I recently bought something that was intended to visually organize your business and I thought this is the perfect way to organize all the diabetes info I have scattered throughout my computer.

So I started creating an online “diabetes command station” for our family.

A place where all the moving pieces of diabetes care can live in one spot.

I’m still building it, but it’s already helping my brain breathe a little easier. Soon it will be ready for others to try too!
